Tami Mills

Tami Mills is Human Resources Manager at Quetico in Chino, California, where she manages all human resources activity for the California operation and processes orders for Quetico's private label customers. She brings more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing.

Her role spans two sides of the business that rarely sit with one person. On the people side, she handles daily employee needs and weekly payroll for a California workforce of more than 100, and she supports the team in Arizona when needed. On the customer side, she owns purchase order processing for private label programs, where accuracy at the point of entry carries through to everything that happens on the floor.

Mills has worked across nearly every function a manufacturing business depends on. She began as a design assistant at Sasson Jeans, then handled accounts payable at V-8 Group, IT and customer service at Team Gear, and customer service and production management at R&S Trading before joining Quetico. That mix of design, finance, systems, customer and production experience lets her move between people questions and order questions in the same day.

She studied psychology at Citrus College, a background that serves her well in human resources, and holds an OSHA General Compliance certificate.

Mills started working in a warehouse at 16 and fell for the industry right away. Outside of work, she paints at various studios and is a regular at craft fairs.
