David Kerkai

David Kerkai is Director of Finance and Accounting at Quetico in Chino, California, where he leads the company's finance and accounting functions. He brings 23 years of experience in finance and accounting.

His remit covers the entire enterprise: the parent company and all of its affiliates and subsidiaries. That includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, accounting operations, internal controls and compliance, along with the decision support company leadership relies on. He leads a team of 11 and works with managers and individual contributors across departments to keep financial stewardship close to the work itself.

Kerkai joined Quetico in 2024 after building his career at General Electric, Universal Studios Hollywood and Vulcan Materials Company. Those are three very different businesses, spanning industrial manufacturing, entertainment and construction materials, and each demands finance that keeps pace with large, complex operations. Quetico's structure of a parent company with affiliates and subsidiaries brings its own version of that challenge.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in International Corporate Finance from California State University, Fullerton.

Kerkai brings a practical approach to finance that starts from operations, translating financial information into clear decisions for leaders across the business. Outside of work, he spends his time with his family.
